Here to see the wildlife. Even got to see the train. Pretty awesome!
Hi all. I go fishing here at Dungeness, and i can tell you it produces good eating fish. I've been going here for years. It has big currents, so be careful in windy conditions.
Great people walk up and down the shore.
There is always someone to talk to. Even volunteering cleaners walk up and down cleaning the beach
⛱️ 🏖 🌊 photographers would love it to. Sea otters come very close to shore and say hi lol.
Beach at the end of England
Once known as the only desert in the UK but no longer classed as a desert I understand, due to an over zealous met office busybody. But it's an amazing place - a wilderness not seen often in an overcrowded Southern England. The buildings and landscape are reminiscent of Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands, with small wooden fishing huts and cottages dotted around. Definitely worth a visit!
one of my favourtie places to be ..never crowded ...quiet and tranquill
Had so much fun there
Such an amazing place to visit for so many reasons.
Britain's only desert is definitely somewhere worthy of a visit, as you'll spot something different each visit.
Be aware though that the wind can whip across the beach on a breezy day, so certainly worth bringing a coat just incase.
